father of many
how we will miss you
who will we kiss now
the love you showed
covered the hurts we felt
in times we don't feel strong
you put us before you
now you're ahead of us
in eternity
the love of all you gave plenty
how we might feel empty
and now we are
those times you extend your hand
you showed me a great deal
of His plan to me
i'm gratefull for those times you stood by me
making the choices
i hardly could make my own
showing His heart for the nations
your seeds will be remembered
those that were planted and
someday i hope to take them up and gather
to be a blessing just like you were
